Seems like everyone has a few standards when it comes to oysters, I know I do. None of them are fried. Not because I don't want the house to smell for days... I have still not achieved the ultimate "homefried" oyster. I have industrial superhotdeepdeepfryer recipes and techniques, but have not found a way to make delicious, crispyontheoutside, drippingjuicyontheinside oysters at home. Anyone?

One of my favorite ways to enjoy oysters is in a shotglass with a bloody mary mix an add a pinch of horseradish and hot sauce to taste. Don't be shy to add a little vodka into one or two either.
