Hot Sauce Suggestions

I am looking for hot sauces to give as gifts - i really like to buy local products and single batch production sauces from friends around the world. Please share with me any you can recommend - and how they can be acquired!!

well i currently have a charred tomato hot sauce, the wife was down on the beach this weekend and was suppose to drop off a sample to Kevin over at Kwan's, not sure if she did or not. you can taste it if he feels like sharing, if not i plan to come down in december with some. also i'm working on a peach sauce, but am thinking i might do a hot jam/marmalade, i haven't decided yet. i also am working the kinks out on a raspberry/mexican chocolate mole sauce, but that one is still in the idea phase, it probably won't hit the pot til january, time permitting.

yum! do you know the guys at Coastal Provisions? they are always looking for 'local' product... that would be a good place to have a tasting, too.... maybe pair your sauces with wines/beers... tarheel too produce stands rocks out homemade products, too... maybe start thinking about OBX as your test market - and get a few sauces together to launch Easter/Memorial Day...
